July Sunday Assembly (Sunday, July 19th)
by Nick Carpenter - Saturday, 11 July 2015, 9:00 AM

The July Sunday Assembly will be held this month at Swallow Hill Music's "Daniels Hall" on 71 East Yale Avenue, Denver, CO 80210 (Corner of Broadway and Yale Ave). This is the same location that we had our April and June Assemblies. The Assembly will start promptly at 12 PM.

Inspiration is the theme this month in honor of our special guest speaker Buzzy Jackson, the award-winning author of the nonfiction books, "The Inspirational Atheist: Wise Words on the Wonder and Meaning of Life"; "A Bad Woman Feeling Good: Blues and the Women Who Sing Them", "Shaking the Family Tree: Blue Blood, Black Sheep, and Other Obsessions of an Accidental Genealogist", and the novel "Effie Perine".

Buzzy is a Correspondent for the Boston Globe. She has a PhD in History from UC Berkeley and is a Research Affiliate with the University of Colorado's Center of the American West.

We will also celebrate this month with songs to sing along (or listen) to with live music from Pale Blue, plus songs from the Sunday Assembly Choir, inspirational readings, and other fun bits.

Sunday Assembly is a non-religious congregation who's mission is to help everyone find and fulfill their full potential in this one life we have. Our motto is live better, help often, and wonder more.

Join us afterwards for coffee and baked goods, and feel free to bring your own baked goods to share!

Parking: The parking lot is diagonal to the venue, on the south side of Yale Avenue. Access through the alley. Parking overflow is available on Yale Avenue or on Broadway, unless restricted. Please respect our neighbors and try not to park on the residential streets.
